Chemistry and Biology sciences are completely intertwined disciplines, as all biological processes are rooted in chemical processes.
In the past Technion Chemistry and Biology Departments were two integrated parts of one Faculty, and so was the Library. Since that time, the Chemistry and Biology Library is doing its best to support the teaching and research needs of the faculty, students, and staff of both Departments.
“A library is a great catalyzer, accelerating the nutrition and rate of progress in a profession”, said Sir William Osler, a prominent Canadian Physician, in the beginning of the 20th Century.
These words are even more relevant now, after the renovations, when our Library was transformed into a modern Information & Study Center, which surely could become the place of inspiration for all our readers.​
