Important Notes
When submitting publications please adhere to the full name of the Technion: Technion Israel Institute of Technology. The Technion should be listed as the primary affiliation.
Submit the publication via a current institutional e-mail address with the suffix: example@technion.ac.il. Your request will not be approved without a Technion email address.
Only the corresponding authors are entitled to a discount.
Please make sure to follow the guidelines.
- Look for the “eligible articles” statements and verify that the discount is valid
- Apply your ORCID number in every submission
- Be aware that the discount will cover only the APC and NOT any additional costs
Hybrid Journals: Full 100% cover of the Open Access / Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted articles in participating hybrid journals.
Fully Open Access (Fully OA) Journals: Eligible authors receive a 15% discount on the APC (rather than full coverage)

To be eligible to publish Open Access and use funding you must be:
- The corresponding author of the article
- Affiliated to the Technion Israel Institute of Technology according to the guidelines
- Publishing an eligible article, in an eligible hybrid journal
- If you are publishing your article in a Supplement, then you are not eligible to use Read and Publish funds to cover the open access charge.
