The mission of the Alfred Goldschmidt Medical Sciences Library is to provide the most effective, responsive, and up-to-date information services possible to advance the objectives of the Faculty of Medicine and the Rambam Health Care Campus communities (research, teaching excellence and high-quality health care). The library also provides support and guidance for all Faculty-affiliated hospital libraries in the Northern region of Israel.

The library maintains collections of books, periodicals and electronic resources that support the research, teaching and patient care by the academic staff, students and medical staff.​
