Recommended plugins for Zotero
Zotero is a reference management software based on an open source, which allows using various plugins to improve your work. We have put together several useful plugins for you: find the descriptions and installation instructions in the links below
Zotero PDF translate helps with translating an article or parts of it. After selecting the text, a new window will appear on the right side of the screen and display the original alongside the translation.
Zotpress allows importing files from Zotero to WordPress. A great solution for researchers who want to present their works on their personal website.
Folder import allows you to import the contents of an entire folder directly to Zotero
Zotero DOI Manager displays shortened DOI links, can validate DOI identifiers and detect invalid DOI identifiers.
Zutilo helps in managing tags and notes, copying bibliographic information and create linked items.
Zutilo’s main features:
- Copying several tags simultaneously from item to item: select the item that you want to copy the tags from, then chose the option copy tags from clipboard. Next, enter the item you want to copy the tags to, and click paste tags to clipboard.
- Linked items: You can choose several items and define them as “linked” to each other using Relate selected items. When choosing one of the articles, you can see in the “Related” category what other articles are linked to it.
- Copying bibliographic information to and from a specific field, using Paste into empty fields. for example: copying a summary from a book PDF to all the chapters in that book, without changing the bibliographic data relevant to a particular chapter.
