When submitting publications please adhere to the full name of the Technion: Technion Israel Institute of Technology. The Technion should be listed as the primary affiliation.
Submit the publication via a current institutional e-mail address with the suffix: example@technion.ac.il. Your request will not be approved without a Technion email address.
Only the corresponding authors are entitled to a discount.
Please make sure to follow the guidelines.
- Look for the “eligible articles” statements and verify that the discount is valid
- Apply your ORCID number in every submission
- Be aware that the discount will cover only the APC and NOT any additional costs
100% APC Discount
OR 25% APC Discount
Technion researchers are allowed to publish in the Royal Society’s selected gold open access journals with a 25% discount on article processing charges (APCs). The Royal Society’s eight subscription journals are now under Subscribe to Open for 2026, meaning they are free to access and there are no APCs for Technion researchers (100% discount) on those eight journals.
