Copyright & Fair Use Guidelines


​Use of digital services provided by the Technion Libraries must be in compliance with Israel Copyright Law and legal agreements signed between the Technion libraries, MALMAD and publishers.

Downloading the full text of an eBook, a journal or a digitized collection of essays, in their entirely, is prohibited and constitutes a violation of copyright law. Systematically downloading large quantities of databases and journals (including via technical means such as robots), is also forbidden.

Access to electronic resources and their use are permitted to the Technion community only: faculty, administrative staff and students. Electronic resources are intended for personal use only, for research or study purposes, and not for commercial use.

Abuse may lead to denied access for the entire Technion. The Technion reserves its right to exercise any disciplinary or legal measures against the offender.
