Textbooks

Course textbooks circulate for one week.

One copy of each textbook remains in the library during the day. 

The Central Library

Copies circulate overnight from 5pm Sunday through Wednesday and from 2pm on Thursday.

Faculty libraries

Each library sets its own policies according to the patrons' needs.

Overnight books must be returned by 9am the next morning.  Books taken out over the weekend must be returned by 10am on Sunday morning.​

Dictionaries and Overnight Books needed for exams​

The Central Library

Materials may be borrowed from 5pm on the evening before the examination and must be returned when the examination is over.

Exams on Sunday- Books may be borrowed from 2pm on the Thursday before the exam and must be returned when the examination is over.

Dictionaries may be borrowed from 8am on the day of the exam and must be returned when the examination is over.

Non-circulating Materials

Journals, rare books and standards do not circulate.

Reference books and encyclopedias- each library sets its own circulation policies

Adjunct Equipment


The Central Library

Laptops may be borrowed until 1 hour before closing.
Calculators and thumb drives (discs-on-key) may be borrowed until 9am the next morning.
Mobil phone chargers must be returned by closing on the same day that they are borrowed.
